The 888s is Iron Heart's newest fit, taking their famed 634s and tapering the leg for a smaller leg opening and added some length to the rise of the top block. This is a jean designed to be a straight leg jean above the thigh and a tapered jean below the thigh. It was designed for those who need more room around the crotch and upper thigh areas of the jean but still want a tapered leg look with a small leg opening. You get all the mobility of a straight leg jean and the tapered look of a slim jean at the same time.
This jean is made out of Iron Heart's flagship fabric that brings their signature 21 ounce selvedge denim to a straight tapered jean. Iron Heart denim is known for it's ultra sheen and extreme durability due to it's heavy weight. Almost any other company attempting to produce denim this heavy would end up with a very stiff and rigid fabric, where as Iron Heart's denim is suprisingly pliable considering it's weight.
These jeans are made of sanforized denim, when washed, the denim will shrink approximately .5" in length (inseam). Please keep this in mind when choosing your size. The denim will also stretch in the waist up to 1" after approximately 20 wears.
