Studio D’Artisan Kurozome “Deepest Black” Snap Buttoned Shirt
$280.00
We know you've always wanted a betel nut dyed shirt and we're happy that Studio D’Artisan is here to fill that need. Dyed using the Kurozome method from Kyoto which creates the "blackest black" using only natural dyes, done here in a gradient pattern by Kyoto Montsuki, a century old dye-house founded in 1915.
The Kurozome method involves many layers of different "shades" of black betel-nut dye until the deepest shade of black is achieved. Only a small number of craftsmen dye yarns and fabrics using this method in Kyoto.
