This key fob and the belt were produced with HTC and the founder and head cult leader of Idle Worship, the Filipino Fabric Jesus, the Sashiko Sicko, the Indigo Incubus, the Patchwork Papi, the Mission District Material Menace, a man who’s never met a perfectly good garment he didn’t want to cut, dye, stitch, distress, repair, or otherwise mess with, Self Edge sales associate by day, textile experimentalist by night, and San Francisco’s reigning heavyweight champion of arts and crafts for grown men—Paolo Cui.

…Heart’s iconic Type III jacket pattern with a slightly lengthened body and two outer hand pockets added, made of the collaboration exclusive 19oz denim. With this 19oz denim we looked at all the denim styles ever created by Iron Heart and tried to produce something which encapsulated a little bit from each denim they’ve produced, from their 14oz all the way up to their 25oz denim. The denim was woven at Japan’s famed Kaihara Mills, which is a first for Iron Heart, and the jacket is finished with an inner selvedge placket detail, a special charcoal “W” chest stitching, a super thick cowhide patch, and much more which you can read about on the product pages of our site.

First up we have these beautiful snakeskin inlayed studded belts, designed by Idle Worship and produced by Los Angeles’ Hollywood Trading Company. These belts are made of thick black cowhide with black hand-burnished edges and finished with dark brown snakeskin and oxidized nickel studs. Available now up to size 40 at all six of our stores.

This heavy 100% cotton fabric is made on vintage loopwheeling machines in Japan. Not many of these machines still exist in the world as they’re difficult to maintain and run at a very slow pace. This jersey is produced and pulled down by gravity to create a zero tension knit, creating that trademark horizontal pattern you seen in a well worn in loopwheeled t-shirt or sweater. Available now in black, white, light blue, and burgundy. One sizing note.. to be able to offer these in XXXL they cut up the tubular knit fabric (only for this size) to create a larger body t-shirt, making them (we believe) the only Japanese brand offering loopwheeled tees up to a XXXL size.
