As part of the new 3sixteen Suffused Collection their NT-100x jean has been garment-dyed then treated to achieve a particular dark shade of charcoal, aka Aphotic Anthracite. These will slowly fade to gray then to indigo as the top coating of dye wears off with regular wear and washing.

Enjoy the same look found on vintage jeans and all jeans from our Japanese manufacturers by retaining the chainstitched hem by having your jeans hemmed by us on our vintage Union Special 43200g Chainstitching machine.
With a chainstitch your hem will form a beautiful roping effect over time due to the opposite pull of denim during regular wear and washing/shrinking. Wabi-Sabi Indeed.
