A true heritage brand, Merz B. Schwanen was originally founded in 1911 outside the Swabian Alps in Germany. In 2011, the brand was re-established by Gitta and Peter Plotnicki, whose passion for traditional clothing and manufacturing is apparent in everything Merz B. Schwanen produces. Today, the brand manufactures traditional garments on vintage machinery, creating their own luxe fabrics with sustainability in mind. And yes, just for the record: Merz B. Schwanen white tees are what Carmy wears on ‘The Bear.’
