Faithful, genuine reproductions of American workwear and denim from one of the first brands to do it. Founded in 1975 by Japan’s Toyo Enterprise, which manufactured garments sold on U.S. military bases, Sugar Cane recreated American classics for the Japanese domestic market. Nearly 50 years later, Sugar Cane still manufactures many beloved heritage pieces, designated by year the reference garment was originally produced, alongside contemporary designs inspired by uniforms and service wear.
